No they don't. A majority of Americans agree with that post but one can lose one's job, etc. if they say so. Political correctness and a lack of guts to say so is the ruler now. In other words, evil rules in America. I couldn't believe such truth was said on City-Data. We need more truth. Help Trump spread it around.

So God only "saves" people when they worship him? Some kind of God that doesn't do things out of the kindness of his heart. He seems like a selfish person actually.
The majority of our family is atheist. We are well educated, moral, contributing members to a rational society. Our observation is that most of the issues are with RELIGION, not the lack thereof.
Saying some prayers in school or having bible passages displayed in government offices (particularly when they represent only ONE of the many religions or denominations that abound) does not contribute to a better society. So, please keep it out of our public schools and government.
