Well, that's kind of awkward given that there are lots of muslim Americans living in every sizable metro area in the country.

Don't people like kabobs and halal meat?

I can hear the resident Liberals already...they blew up NYC because of a pig's head and then go on to justify the mass killing again.

Chances are you live in between DC and Boston, where there are more muslim (and every other religion) than the rest of the country.

Living in a religiously pluralistic society, Muslim Americans are more likely than Muslims in many other nations to have many non-Muslim friends. Only about half (48%) of U.S. Muslims say all or most of their close friends are also Muslims, compared with a global median of 95% in the 39 countries we surveyed.

I think you are really off base. Most people don't believe that at all. God forbid the democrats try to do anything about the mass killings that keep happening in the country.

Only religious nut jobs would get bent out of shape for either.

Sometimes it scares me when I hear officials get bent out of shape about a symbolic demonstration but look for the reason that 14 people died. Yes, PC is totally nuts in this country. Hate crime. Hate crime is people being shot not a pig's head. Throw it in the trash and move on.

What? We shouldn't try to find a reason why people were killed at a Christmas party? There are over 100K muslims in philadelphia. A huge majority of them are the Malcolm X/Muhammad Ali type. It is the mayors job to keep the peace and social tensions low.

Well from the way some people are speaking (here, social media, some politicians) it seems hard to believe. Some are actively encouraging this sort of behavior, like more division is what America needs right now.

If a person's religion requires them to hate someone-they need a new religion, or none at all. That goes for any and everyone.

The mass media promotes fear, because it keeps eyes glued to the screen.

I have a hard time feeling bad about this. At the very least, Muslims are standing silent on the issue of these murderous attacks and by being silent, they are encouraging them. At the very worst, Mosques are actually taking part, whether willfully or not, in the process of radicalization.
