I also want to add, Germany is growing older and its working-age population is expected to fall even faster, from 49 million today to just 34 million by 2060.

Do people honestly think refugees can help plug the gap???!!!!! Get real
Yeah, 800,000 migrants with the overwhelming majority of them only having an elementary education will sure do the trick.

I am not suggesting Germany should accept zero refugees, no, not at all, but how many refugees do you think a small country like Germany can absorb?

Another question is: what exactly do German people know about the people come to them? If these are all peaceful, great, hard working people, then why German school (some of them, not all) have to order girls not to wear short skirts because it is offensive and it might get them raped?

Cities such as Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen and Tübingen have all declared that confiscations cannot be ruled out in emergency situations.

Can Germany handle the situation long term?

Last but not the least, how many refugee families have Merkel personally helped? True charity, must cost us, it takes NOTHING to rob Peter to pay Paul.

Very flawed plan created by a very selfish woman.

Grace, dignity, compassion, love is a two way street. "rescuing" is promoting toxic codependent relationship.
