I don't vote GOP. They are only slightly less disgusting than the Dems.

And BTW, I'm not jealous of rich people like Romney, Gates, Soros, etc.

Not quite. Killing jobs and raising the cost of energy hurts working people.

"Quit voting for them. Will we? Not likely."

Quit being such woosies.

I guess your memory is so short you don't remember the Tea Party movement, where MANY incumbents WERE VOTED OUT.

There is STILL a block or elected people backed by the Tea Party in office.

All you have to do is go out and START your OWN group IF you can find enough people to support you.

Don't whine and cry, DO SOMETHING!

I supported the Tea Party (before the Palin's took it over). The thing is, I supported Occupy also. Their beliefs overlapped probably 80% but unfortunately, they spit at each other as opposed to working together to achieve that 80%.

At the time I pointed out that Occupy wanted to end the bailouts and free money to Wall Street just like the Tea Party did but it was argued,....."they are dirty hippies that want the minimum wage raised also". So what? Occupy did the same thing and neither group got what they wanted because politicians were successful in demonizing both groups because it was in their best interest to do so.

FULLY PAID FOR BY IMPOSING A TAX ON WALL STREET SPECULATORS.

The cost of this plan is fully paid for by imposing a tax of a fraction of a percent on Wall Street speculators...
Otherwise known as everyone who has a pension plan, retirement account, 529 (college savings) plan, annuity, whole life insurance, etc...

They're ALL Wall Street speculators, as they too are investing in equities to grow the value of their accounts.

To make a run for President these days it costs a lot of money, probably close to a billion $$$ for the eventual winner, these candidate have to get their money from somewhere as selling cookies door to door or doing a weekend car wash just wont raise the required funds, the big money is in the hands of big busness and the billionaires,Dems and Reps alike have to go that route to get the cash necessary to run for office. Unfortunate that the whole democratic process has come down to who has the most money has the best chance of winning.
How its done in Canada =

How much has Trump taken? No, it is not something that must be done.

Walker had the Koch brothers backing him and yet he was the first to drop out.

It's a myth that Democrats are the party of the working class. This is one of the reasons Mozilo (Countrywide CEO) and others were never prosecuted and didn't go to jail:
