If it's really just disenfranchised individuals and their religion doesn't matter who are becoming radicalized, why aren't any disenfranchised Christians, Jews, Buddhists, etc joining the cause? Why is it only muslims? Afterall, simply based on the number of Christians compared to the number of muslims globally, one would think there would be more Christians than muslims willing to join?

Or, is it just a really weird coincidence that terrorism, regardless of what corner of the globe it's happening, is committed mainly by muslims in the name of islam?
You are certainly painting with a very broad brush Len,something akin to judging all Americans by the activities of biker gangs or street gangs.
If you really want to know where this terrorism is coming from dont blame all Muslims blame it on that sect that is the perpetrator all the terrorism= the Wahabis

I'm not even going to try to track that 55% down because my guess is it came from some RWNJ site like 'jihadwatch', but consider this- if there are that many Muslims who support violence, then why these numbers? In every country in this list except for Indonesia a majority of the population is worried about Islamic extremism

Perhaps because "almost" is not exclusive. We have a problem with individuals that represent the last part of the post WW2 post colonial world where peace and security has been yet to be obtained. And that niggling area of conflict is Northern Africa and the Middle-East.

In recent years we've been able to tamp down the Provisional Irish Republican Army, Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC ) and Sendero Luminoso. Even Euskadi Ta Askatasuna (ETA) has come to some accommodation with Spain. We've done so by addressing the root causes that breed terrorist. That doesn't mean that many on both sides of the battle will not die, because many will. But when we learn the to recognize the root causes of a conflict you might can toss away the ideologies that terrorist wrap themselves it whether it is Marxism in the past or Islam now. Terrorism arises out of repression, alienation and a sense of powerlessness. It through recognition of those facts that thinking individuals refuse to be drawn into a war agains Islam.
