Sure you can. You just make replicas of 'sensors' used 100 years ago and place them next to current 'sensors'. Overlapping records using different methods and equipment can also be used for calibration. Scientist also compare temperatures of a range of different natural proxies: ice cores, ocean and lake sediments, boreholes, corals etc.

Not per se, per se; but it is can brilliantly oxidize carbon.

One small bolt of lightning, just one small bolt, can set set it off.

It would be disastrous to increase the earth's nitrogen sink.

Deforestation is our only protection!

I like to keep things simple.
Well in this case you went too simple, do you have a link to NOAA other other professional organization that verifies your personal theory.

Yes it's voodoo because you don't understand the science kind of like the natives centuries ago during an eclipse of the sun.

I dunno. Ask Gus Grissom.

(Also, having used oxygen as a decompression
gas, we were pretty careful not to blow ourselves up.)

Nice try, but a poor attempt on your part. I am always open to science because the point of science is to always question research in order to get more accurate research.

Ignorant people often confuse magic with science.

It'd be great if Watt or any number of bloggers could actually put forth a paper that puts it in doubt....

But alas... it's much easier to be merely a blogger....
