I actually am completely aware of the differences, and why leviticus no longer applies. But-point of fact, it used to apply.

Old Testament calls for putting adulterers to death. Stoning was a common form of execution and mentioned in the bible. Much of Islamic Law is rooted in the Old Testament.

Some gospels have JC advocating for the laws of the Old Testament.

Fast forward to the Puritans in New England who created laws against adultry. Remember the Scarlet Letter?

Public whipping, fines and execution of women convicted of adultry were common punishments.

Adultry remains a crime in 21 states and a felony in 5 states.

Over time various non mainstream Christian sects have called for death for various sexual crimes, including adultry.

US military considers adultry a crime with maximum punishment of dishonorable discharge and confinement.

As predicted, ANY criticism of Islam lead to criticism of Christianity.

Why not start your own thread if you want to bash Christianity? why do you people have to constantly compare the two religions? What is the point?

Does it mean that two wrong make a right?

why not just discuss Human rights issues in Islamic countries? What is the point to compare modern day Muslims to ancient Christians? sheesh

Religions revolve around energy worship. Energy is a formless omnipresent entity. Humans have given it a form in order to relate to religion and connect to it.

This has given rise to the concept of idol worship and places of worship. Eventually, all of this is nothing but energy worship.

Religion is about evolving.
