ISIS elements escaped from Ramadi to Sjarih and Sofya
The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Dozens of ISIS elements escaped from the government complex and the center of Ramadi areas to al-Sjarih and al-Sofya east of the city,” adding that, “The escape is a result of the progress of the security forces in retaking Ramadi areas and the violent strikes of the Iraqi army artillery and Air Force on ISIS headquarters in the center of the city.”

Good for them - keep at it.

If you look at the map, Ramadi is deep inside Iraq. It is actually only 60 miles from Baghdad. How has ISIS kept the city for 7 months while supplying it with weapons and ammo while the US Air Force flying overhead?

Your answer may be found here.

-----------------------------

Iraqi forces humiliate ISIL supporters captured in Ramadi
Iraqi forces have turned the tables on ISIL sympathisers captured in the city of Ramadi, taunting prisoners and forcing them to kneel in the sand and cower in fear.

A video filmed by soldiers, and broadcast on Iranian TV, shows a large column of captured ISIL supporters kneel in the dirt in single file, their hands handcuffed with their heads bowed as an Iraqi army commander laughs and jeers in their faces.

Wait a minute... a true turning of the tables would mean those captured would be beheaded.

The city has been held by ISIL since May and was turned into a fortress of booby traps, sniper nets and machine gun posts.

...
We did not face strong resistance, only snipers and suicide bombers and this is a tactic we expected," he said.

A victory in Ramadi would leave Mosul, Tal Afar and Fallujah as the only major Iraqi cities still in ISIL hands...

54 ISIS militants including senior leader 'al-Shishani' killed in Iraq

This is in four different locations around the country.

No mention of U.S. involvement - which is good for them, but is also not surprising from the U.S. standpoint based on the administration's prior actions.

I am just referring to these current operations and the immediate reports.

I understand we are sending bombs their way.
