Well he is rich and could pay any amount. Most of us don't have that luxury and would have to go to court to defend ourself.

Do you think that his reputation hasn't already been destroyed? He hasn't been proven guilty yet, but it's not looking good for him.

In the deposition, which stemmed from a sexual abuse case against Cosby filed by a former Temple University employee, Cosby was asked by a lawyer, “When you got the quaaludes [in the 1970s], was it in your mind that you were going to use these quaaludes for young women that you wanted to have sex with?” Cosby answered, “Yes.” Bill Cosby: Why He Admitted Under Oath to Getting Drugs to Use for Sex

His reputation is now destroyed, and again I am not indicating guilt or innocence; I will leave that to a court of law. Which is exactly why he paid the first woman off, to avoid this type of problem.

That isn't what Bill Clinton supporters said in the late 1990's.

Who exactly did Bill Cosby rape? This is about accusations, in case you missed that pertinent point.

actually most of the world saw the truth...Clinton was a sexual predator and rapist

yes bill Clinton should be in jail for his assault against women

clinton was the commander in chief...UCMJ lists adultry as a crime

clinton was also a sexual harrasser, and sexual assaulter.....

clinton was impeached for lying under oath...not about monica, but about the previous sexual ASSAULT case

suggest you brush up on your clinton history

paula jones was a VICTIM of that molester clinton....before he became potus

lewisnki was the final puzzle piece..the sauce for the goose....clinton lied to protect himself...and he got caught

what was starrs original charter...to investigate the questionable death of vince foster..and whitewater.... Paula Jones, who was suing President Clinton over a sexual assault.

btw Clinton and his defense team then challenged Jones' right to bring a civil lawsuit against a sitting president for an incident that occurred prior to the defendant's becoming president. The Clinton defense team took the position that the trial should be delayed until the president was no longer in office, because the job of the president is unique and does not allow him to take time away from it to deal with a private civil lawsuit. The case went through the courts, eventually reaching the Supreme Court on January 13, 1997. On May 27, the Supreme Court unanimously ruled against Clinton, and allowed the lawsuit to proceed

clinton entered into an out-of-court settlement, agreeing to pay Jones (settling is a form of admission)

and lets not forget Gennifer Flowers ,,,who he had had a 12-year relationship with .... Bill Clinton PUBLICLY denied having a relationship with Flowers ......yet...In his presidential deposition in January 1998, while denying Kathleen Willey's sexual accusations against him, Bill Clinton admitted that he had a sexual encounter with Flowers.

99% of liberals say "clinton was impeached because of a blowjob"

when in fact he was impeached based on a sexual harasment suit and his lying under oath

are you another mesmerized liberal woman hater , who doesnt believe Kathleen Willey or Jenifer Flowers, or Paula Jones

clinton settled out of court on the Jones case, paying her nearly a million dollars

Before any of you say "how can 50 women lie"? Remember, it's 2016. The internet has made it easy to figure what the last accuser said and boom, I can even make up my own Pill Cosby story that sounds similar to the all the others.

I don't even like Bill Cosby but I like to use my analytical skills and I can see some BS in here.

They need to stop lying with this "no one would believe me" spiel. ANYONE IN AUTHORITY in 60's and 70's would have taken a white woman seriously who said a black man attacked her.

There needs to be legislation that will imprison false-accusers of rape to the SAME penalty that those they accused would have done if convicted.
Uh, I think your "analytical skills" are failing. You have got to be kidding with all of this. I don't know where you are getting these ideas.. been watching "To Kill a Mockingbird"? (set in an earlier period in the South, with a conservative lynch mob attacking a black man who was falsely accused by a backwoods white girl).

HE was already a star in the 60's and Rape victims have never had an easy time of it. Why do you think they all let it go, since they were told to, were paid off, were otherwise not believed, besides Cos having "more influence" than they? He had it validated from the beginning that he could and would get away with it, so he kept doing so - while married. The reason victims continued coming forward after his being exposed is due to there being "safety in numbers", which apparently you do not understand.

So you think that over 50 women got the idea for a claim from reading another's story? That they thought they would all get together and poke fun at ol' Cos, all these years later? Sure, that would be really fun .. they really want to go out and open themselves up to scrutiny, each having to express the vulnerable details of their horrible experiences.. all a bit different, from the SAME man. And even if they wanted it or could get money, do you think this would even be worth the trouble? No, they are doing this to receive some level of justice for being at the hands of a cold, arrogant, scumbag.

Though a proven false accusation is serious and wrong.. how common do you believe there exists "false accusers" in general? It appears that a young, conservative male, being influenced by older, macho males and not growing up with females prominently in their family, thinks this way...(and if there were females, they were not considered at all).
