Considering that there's only a flimsy case against him with no conceivable evidence and the fact that he hired the hell out of a lawyer who seems to be able to effortlessly argue her way out of anything, it's almost certain that Cosby will be acquitted.
So, what is going to happen after that? Are they going to clear his name, give him back his honorary degrees, and put his show back into syndication, or is Cosby going to be O.J-shamed for the rest of his life?
Would those of you who think he's guilty reconsider and re-embrace him as America's favorite T.V dad after the case against him doesn't stand up in court?
He will have none stop cases being brought. I don't know the statute for rape, but he will not escape it all. So if this 1 case doesn't stand up we should ignore the other 60 some odd, Most people don't need a court conviction to tell right from wrong.
I've been turned off by Bill Cosby from way back when I heard him joke about giving "Spanish Fly" to girls to get sex. It was on one of his comedy records and you can hear him for yourself on the bottom link. It was a common reference for him early on in his career. I have no doubt that he used it and other drugs to get sex from non-consenting women. Maybe not all 60 of them but enough.
The bit is funny if you were a 13 year old boy in the 60's and 70's. Simply put, Spanish fly doesn't work as an aphrodisiac. It does work as a male erectile dysfunction remedy and was used that way in earlier times. However it can be lethal if given in too high a dose. There have been documented poisonings and deaths due to Spanish fly.

There's only one case that has not passed the statute, and little if any evidence for that one case against him. The rest of those fifty and some odd women are wasting their time.
If you are talking about those that are making up the accusations, I agree that they are vile. I would consider a "bimbo expedition" if anyone of them is lying (which I suspect is number of them). If you don't remember what happened but insist it's rape, I think that's suspicious because you have to be sure that there was even any sexual activity to begin with.
They are the vile one's in this case? Yea all of them are probably lying. You're a genius.
I doubt he will be acquitted this time. He has admitted to drugging many women with Quaaludes (including this plaintiff) and then having sex with them. His defense is that was consensual - the women knew what they were taking and his intents. This is the first case since the admission that doesn't fall outside the statute of limitations.
And people are innocent until they are proven guilty.
Legally that is true. In the court of public opinion it is not.
