Oregon ranching case sparks anti-government sentiment

1. Should have never stolen the families land
2. Should have never prosecuted them under an "anti terrorism law" when there was NO TERRORISM
3. People should fight back. Armed if need be. Seems to be only thing jackboot thugs understand. Worked in 2014 will work again. Its outrageous these men have ALREADY served time AND been released and now being FORCED to become slaves to the system again.

1. Who stole their land, the Federal Government didn't renew their lease after they set 2 fires
2. They had the right to graze not to set fires on federal land.
3. The only people crazy over this is you and the Bundy group, notice the Bundy go home sign near their ranch.

What would be a fair sentence in your mind for setting fire to 140 acres of federal land and taking it out of commission for 2 years, not to mention the danger to others.

Land had already been stolen BEFORE they scorched some of it to keep weeds and other dangerous things away.It wasn't "arson" hell we burn our hillsides and yards here!
Oh and no the correct people are the ones not willing to lay down and take the government trampling all over them without standing up against it. Government backed down in 2014 they will again

They already did their sentence as well in case you missed that tiny tidbit...thought we had laws against double jeopardy. Also laws against prosecuting someone under asinine and illegal laws. What's worse is a jury of 12 MORONS actually convicted someone burning grass under a terrorism law....talk about DUMB.

Heres a non-biased report of WHY they were charged. Here in Oregon doing things that endanger firefighters lives is a big no-no

But the government said Steve Hammond lit up on the flanks of a butte, despite a countywide burn ban and the knowledge that young part-time firefighters were camped up higher. Their crew boss spotted the fires, which were set at night, and moved the crew.

A private citizen burns some weeds on his property and it burns a few acres of federal land and he goes to prison. Federal employees start "controlled burns" that get out of control and burn hundreds of thousands of acres-no one is held responsible. SOSDD.

A few weeds, he burnt 140 acres and put other peoples property and lives in danger and he did it twice. He ignored the fact that he couldn't set fires on federal property and ignored a ban on fires period.
