If you don't believe that both should be legal than you are not a true conservative.

And that is why I said, I don't understand this misconception that legalization is exclusively a liberal stance. Trust me, I know plenty who lean conservative that either smoke, or support legalization of weed, as well as prostitution. Not that we're gonna run right out and go get a hooker if it's legal tomorrow (personally it ain't my thing) but if it is consensual between 2 adults, then rock on!

Ah ha. Good point, but that's where this country makes it's big mistake. Prisoners need to work to cover their expenses. Whether it's work farms or work outside the prison for medium security prisoners or lesser. There is a way to make it work. It would also be a better life for the prisoners themselves. Trusted prisoners could also be learning a trade or profession at the same time.

I remember seeing prisoners working on the side of the road here in Virginia not that long ago. Even at the County Landfill. Sometimes it was an inmate that would direct my truck backing in.

What's your take on these issues?
Government should have no role in telling me what I can eat, drink, smoke or who I can have sex with. It really is that simple.

And liberals too. It's not just conservatives.
