Gee, this worked so well we are dying to do the same thing in Syria, well maybe we won't be the ones 'dying', but the Christians in Syria sure will be...

'Since a NATO-backed revolt ousted Gaddafi, Libya has slipped deeper into turmoil with two rival governments and a range of armed factions locked in a struggle for control of the OPEC state and its oil wealth.

In the chaos, Islamic State militants have grown in strength, taking over the city of Sirte and launching attacks on oilfields. Islamic State fighters this week attacked two major oil export terminals.

We used the lessons learned from Iraq well, we create more new terrorists than the rest of the world combined.

Same thing is happening in Iraq without Saddam. We need to learn to leave the M.E. alone.

Yup, that's the hubris of Clinton and Obama coming back to haunt them.

Where do they get the notion that, without any Congressional or national approval, they can just go in and blow up a country, destroy their military, depose their government? Then just walk away from it all, and let the vermin fill in the vacuum. All without there them ever offering an excuse to protecting American lives or our national security.

If Obama had followed thru on Iraq, as he should have, there would be no ISIL, just a rag tag group of wannabes causing problems in Syria. If we had not interfered in Syria, it's possible Assad may have already destroyed ISIL there.

We don't care about the people. We care about the petrodollar.

Iraq, Libya, Syria and Iran.

Two down, two to go.

All I can do is sadly shake my head in disbelief.

We made many mistakes but first and foremost was the mistake in believing Muslims shared the same morals and values held by western civilization. Well, they don't.

I will say it first, Muslims aren't even human beings.

What kills me (not literally... not yet) is that the current crop of Dems, Hillary and Bernie, are resolute in demanding the ouster of Assad. Why. Have they learned nothing - or is there another agenda?

As the Hillionaire proclaimed, "we came, we saw, Ghadaffi died"

Yep, we should have stopped in Iraq but no, we have to have an Arab Spring and here we are, having created the "JV Team"

What I find particularly ignorant about the whole mess is that the US had an opportunity in 2009 to help the students in Iran replace the mullahs with a more secular government and Bammy wanted no part of that one. But when it comes time to oust secular strongmen who kept the lid on the boiling pot of frogs that is a middle east country, they can't do that fast enough.
