You are absolutely right about the fear mongering. The thing you seem to be missing is that most of us have had all the guns we need for many years. The ones running out and buying guns are novice shooters. The fear mongering that Obama has stimulated puts guns in the hands of a lot of people who ordinarily wouldn't but a firearm. This happens each and every time a president or the congress starts trying to legislate gun laws. It does more harm than good to continuously threaten gun reform.

Time to outlaw doctors and hospitals then. Their mistakes kill ten times as many as guns, every year.

Oh so gun owners aren't buying more guns? When was the last time you bought a gun then? Also, I didn't say who was buying guns, just morons that believe the fear mongering that the government is coming to take away their guns.

Actually it seems to do more good than harm because it pumps more money into the economy.

Well, let's see. I've sold 3 and bought 2.. That is a negative 1. None of my sales or purchases were done because of a fear of what the government is going to do. As I said, the ones out in a frenzy are newbies in the gun market. Most of us have danced this dance before.

It's very telling that conservatives are sooo very afraid of liberals that they gotta clutch their guns closer and even go out and buy more. Such fearful creatures those gun nuts are.
Yes, your idiot hero. Unlike liberals I am my own person, I handle myself. I don't need help to pee.

Thanks, I'll buy one or two just on your recommendation. Seriously.

I was going to anyway but wth, why not. I need a bolt carbine to replace one I'm selling and probably a new upper in .458 Socom for hog hunts up close.

I thought you said it was novice gun owners running out buying guns, not the seasoned gun owners.

And I bet it isn't your first gun, which means it is the ones who own several guns that are buying most of the guns.

And yet Obama hasn't seized one gun from anyone (unlike President Bush did in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina). The gun lovers have been fantasizing that Obama will show up to steal their guns "any day now." You'd think after eight years they'd catch on that the gun lobby is playing them like violins. Oh well.
