Germans love dogs. I have no idea what her disfunction is. Probably the same mental disfunction that makes her think allowing those migrants into their country is a good idea.

The article explains she was attacked by a dog.

Oh poor Angela. Sounds like she has issues. She should let someone stronger run the most powerful nation in Europe.

How does that change the fact that Komrade Putin is a Grade A douchebag commie gangster thug? Try as hard as you may, but you can't gold plate a steaming turd.

F*** everything about that guy.

I am not "tough", but not a wimpy pushover as well.

Why harm an innocent animal due to the actions of an idiot. The dog would get over the pepper spray, but one could take the action as an allegory. I think Putin would have got the message.

Another option would have brought a "domesticated" lion or tiger to the meeting (which would have been as outrageous as Putin's bringing the dog).

The message: You will not intimidate us. You bring a knife, we will bring a gun. You bring a gun.........

If his dog wasn't humping her then Putin treated her better than she does of the citizens in her own country. She is the thug. You have a lot of nerve complaining of Putin when his guest is the Madam of a brothel called haus Deutschland. Who pimps out their daughters to street scum?

Have you proof that he had been briefed?

Putin gave an interview to the German reporters a few days ago. These journalists asked him this question (about the dog). They remembered the event a decade ago, and now the whole world is discussing it. I do not know why they did it, but it looks pretty silly.

indeed.

I would also like to know how they somehow know now, supposedly, that pootypoot was aware of merkel's phobia.

The story goes that Mr Putin, who had been briefed on Mrs Merkel’s fear of dogs, brought his black labrador Connie to the meeting.
'the story goes'? yeah, sounds like a story alright.
