So economic policy should be based upon what is good for Donald Trump?

And China, the U.S.'s third largest export market reciprocates, what then? U.S. firms, move more jobs offshore to avoid China's taxes. That's a brilliant idea.

See above under, brilliant ideas.

See this a perfect example of trying to hold on to 19th century economic concepts. Capital will fly to cheaper sources of production and sales regardless of what any individual nation can do. We no longer live in a world where developed countries do the producing and the developing countries can only do the dance by only providing raw resources. Every nation on the earth is capable of developing a productive work force if capital is willing to make the investment. Artificially raising the price of production for protectionist purposes only acts as an inducement to do so.

This could happen since we have imported enough slave labor to last for decades. Then the cheap labor will start to want more and more then where will the next wave of slaves come from???? Running out of third world toilets to drain....

Forbes Welcome
Forbes is run by globalists who do not believe in economic patriotism.
Their motto is "incorporate in the Caymans, and hire robots."

Don't forget, Trump is also going to make Christmas Great Again! An Xmas tree in every living room!

I can't believe this Oompa Loompa lookalike is doing so well in the polls, surely this is rock bottom. I have no love for the GOP, but even I thought they were better than this.

That would at first blush require you to stand for either free market capitalism (globalism) or some sort of government dictated economy. I don't believe you to be the latter so your comment is a puzzlement.

If Trump wants to make capitalism, and the Republican Party, work more to the benefit of ordinary people, that's a good thing. Wouldn't you agree?

So, people NOW cheer the alleged party of LESS government interference in our lives proposing MORE government interference, eh?

Laughingly hypocritical coming from a buffoon who had BNO problem putting his name on cheesy Chinese made crap sold in America.
