If you can't speak fluent Danish, German, or English you will not gain entry into a bar or night club in Denmark. This policy was designed to keep out the supposedly high rate of Muslim Migrants that enter bars and start groping and harassing women.
Many women have stopped going to bars as they feel that they will get sexually harassed/assaulted, not that they might.
Is this a smart policy to protect women and the business' revenue stream - or is this too discriminatory?
This policy could be an issue for tourists from other parts of Europe who may not be fluent in any of those languages. Those tourists might argue that it's unfair for them to miss out, and those venues could therefore lose revenue as a result.
I'm unaware whether Sønderborg is a popular destination, but I can't imagine this exact policy being enforced in Copenhagen.
Makes perfectly good sense to me. A little discrimination and profiling is not always a bad thing.
Aren't most Islamist and not allowed to drink?
Yes, but there is a problem with some of these Muslim Migrants getting too drunk and leading to them getting detained before being allowed to go back to their tent city - so not all of them consider alcohol a strict ban.
It sounds like a good idea to me to bar muslim guys from the clubs. The problem is that in their society they view women more as property and they have never been taught to respect them. Most women dress a bit suggestive when going clubbing and for the narrow minded the skimpy dress is a signal that the wearer wants to be felt up.
If someone can't behave in public then they should be excluded until they can. If these muslim guys want to associate in european society they need to follow the rules. When kids act up they are put in a time out corner, the same should be done here with no backlash of racism or discrimination.
So what if it's discriminatory? why does everything in life have to be fair and 100% equal to these nay sayers??!!
Does their right to enter a night club trump women's rights to not get groped or raped?
Has anyone been to a club in NYC? Not everyone gets in. They sometimes want a certain look or gender before you're allowed in. Where are these human right's activists in these cases?

So is it still OK for men (and women!) who speak fluent Danish, German, or English to grope and harass women?
I think any one who does this should be thrown out on his/her rear, regardless of his/her religion or lack of it.
"Is this a smart policy to protect women and the business' revenue stream - or is this too discriminatory?" - it is discriminatory, but mostly it's just plain silly.
Note - w/out exception, all the men who ever harassed me in bars over the past 40 or so years spoke fluent English.
