Well, I am surprised that with a traffic stop and shots fired by these clowns that law enforcement did not unload 137 rounds into the vehicle.

We don't know that the militia members fired any shots.

Do I have this right? These are the guys who have pretended to be under siege for weeks, right? Armed sentries, the works?

Now they put their entire leadership in a couple of cars and announce to the world that they're going to make a 70-mile drive on a deserted road through what must in their minds be considered hostile territory. Nobody thought that perhaps that wasn't the greatest idea?

That right there is flat-out stupid. Mind-bogglingly, indescribably dumb. If you needed any proof that whoever bragged of military experience in that camp was wildly overstating their experience, you just got it.

In an avalanche of bad ideas coming from the Bundys, that one has had to be the worst. And that is saying something.

Sounds like the dead guy was from the militia.

"During that arrest, there were shots fired," the FBI said. "One individual who was a subject of a federal probable cause arrest is deceased. ... One individual suffered non-life threatening injuries."
