Source please?

Nothing you've posted so far on this thread has indicated that you've paid much attention to this particular event and the people involved, so I can't help but wonder how you know the above.

edit to add:
They took over the headquarters building on Jan 2, and on Jan 3 Bundy made this statement:
Quote:
At a news conference on Sunday, Ammon Bundy said his group had not heard from law enforcement since taking over the unoccupied site and urged other citizens from across the country to join their effort.
As late as Jan 7, local LEO was still meeting peacefully with Bundy, the Feds had not yet officially contacted the group.

The FBI and Bundy didn't begin negotiations until 2 weeks later, January 22.
Quote:
It was the first known conversation between Bundy and federal agents since he and his crew took over the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge on Jan. 2, according toThe Oregonian.

If they did not intend to go into the buildings why did they immediately do so?

That was 4 days into the protest outside.

Would you make it into my home in the first place, without point a gun at me? Big difference.
When threatened, you take cover. Guess were the only cover to take was...
They were doing interviews from INSIDE the building from day 1.

In phone interviews from inside the occupied building Saturday night, Ammon Bundy and his brother, Ryan Bundy, said they are not looking to hurt anyone. But they would not rule out violence if police tried to remove them, they said.
Quote:
Neither man would say how many people are in the building or whether they are armed.
And all of this was before the government made any statements regarding the issue.

This was on Jan 2. The FIRST day of the protest at the wildlife reserve.

If they were giving interviews from INSIDE the building on the first day, how can you claim they weren't inside the building until the 4th day?

I don't envy defending these clowns. Then again, I'm not dumb enough to want to.

The fact they were armed has the pucker factor on high alert.
You have a selective memory. On January 2nd Ammon Bundy released video calling on supporters to "bring their arms" to defend the seizure of the Malhuer National Wildlife Refuge, an act that was condemned by the way by such conservatives as Ted Cruz. Now I think that any reasonable thinking person would come to the conclusion that by bring arms to a "protest" the implication is to violently resist any just authority of law enforcement to end the protest.

Quote:
No one but government, pointed a gun at anyone.
Only for effectuating the lawful arrest of individuals who publicly declared their willingness to use deadly force to resist such arrests.

Quote:
People never pointed them at government. NEVER!
No and if they had they would have been shot a lot sooner, since that would lawfully be considered as posing an imminent threat.

This is what a lawful and peaceful demonstration looks like.

This does not:
