There are over 400,000 children in the foster care system, with 100,000 available for adoption right this moment. Each year, over 20,000 18 year old kids (and yes, they are kids) age out of the system and often lack any kind of support system, life skills, or hope. More than half of those kids end up homeless or in jail within 3 years. More than half of the girls end up pregnant within 18 months, continuing the cycle of poverty.

With so many supposedly "pro-life" people in America, how is it possible that there is a SINGLE CHILD in this country bouncing from unstable foster home to group home (aka orphanages) to homelessness at 18 because no one wanted them?

And that's to say nothing of the shameful number of children who live in poverty in this country.

Wonder if a fetus with rights is a dependent. Can one deduct them on their income tax?

Anti abortion and fertility laws are more about men forcing female dependency through pregnancy than anything to do with the fetus. These laws are about male control of women that anything else.
Well said, sir!

Rand Paul is right. Science has proven this but I am not sure if this will be accepted by science deniers.
The abortionists will say, since they cannot vote while in the womb, obviously they have no rights at all.

Def a real good point you brought up there.

What a twisted selfish world we live in.So execution of the innocent is good, and execution of the criminals is bad .

Rand "Aqua Buddah" Paul was never a libertarian. He just likes weed and doesn't think people should be put in jail and have their lives ruined for minor offences like drug possession, because he really likes weed. He's still a far right conservative with a few not-as-insane-as-the-rest-of-them ideas about protecting the fourth amendment.

Amen. The pro-life crowd doesn't really care about abortion. They prove this by actively advocating against programs to prevent unwanted pregnancies (and abortions) and ignoring the plight of those unwanted children after they are born.
