Not really following these points but these seemingly endless series of threads criticizing the Pres for somehow controlling everything that happens in the US or the World through a series of unsubstantiated assertions are beyond tiresome.
Well if starting their own family, I'm assuming they must already have jobs to support that family, which should in turn offer them health insurance, right? Pretty irresponsible to start a family otherwise. How about Georgette-Jean...Georgette-Jean went right to the workforce from high school, and her employer doesn't offer insurance. Isn't it terrible that ole Georgette-Jean can stay under her parents insurance for 8 more years?

ACA is universally disliked in the country. Forcing people off their affordable plans and making them buy garbage plans that are hideously expensive they don't need to subsidize deadbeats.

Look I'm a centrist but for the most part lean Democrat...however that has not stopped me from voting Republican in the past. But I keep on hearing how Obama is lawless and taking away our freedoms but Lets look logically. What were you allowed to do on Jan. 19 2009 (the day before Obama officially became president) that you are now longer allowed to do. and please no vague talking points or an idea he presented. Also if it wasn't a problem with his predecessors it cant be a problem with him

If your prior plan included Cancer screening, it did not distinguish between men and women.
Someone at normal weight paid the same premium for the same plan in the same geographic area, as someone overweight/ obese, even though the latter was at higher risk for Heart Disease, Diabetes and complications, High BP, Stroke and some Cancers. Those with healthier lifestyles subsidized those with unhealthy lifestyles.
Older people have always had higher individual plan premiums than younger people.
All insurance involves mutualization of risks.
I had cut out all female garbage before the great lie years ago. I refined it over the years as I aged. BC/BS allowed you to do that and I paid a low premium that fit me.
Not now. Now those that can have to pay for deadbeats. Well, since, as my doctor has stated, I am ridiculously healthy, I pass my Class II medical checks yearly to fly my plane, I retain my license to drive trains for a Class A railroad.

So your premiums' cost increased. Did you ever notice that costs always increase? Did you notice that the rate of increase is now less than it was prior to the ACA... --LOTS less?

Wow! I used to work for BCBSO(regon) and never saw policies that could be, or had been, so tailored. They slipped right by me.
