Our local sheriff promotes the CCW and runs the qualifications at a discount here. He said that he believes that anyone who can legally carry a gun, should carry a gun. He will even loan you a gun for the class.

MrsM attended a class at a local College this past weekend. It was a trauma first aid course sponsored by a local Well Armed Woman Chapter, but there was a lot of gun safety involved.

I think that every University should sponsor CCW and self defense courses

Won't happen, but wishful thinking

Yes Cornell, Harvard, Columbia and MIT all need to add gun safety classes to their curriculum, this needs to be a priority with college graduates.
