Black History Month - still needed? (african, schools, against, American)

Why aren't there white, brown, yellow, red history month? How is "Black History Month" not racist?

There is an Irish-American History Month, Polish-American History Month, Italian-American History Month etc.

The only reason there is BLACK history month is because for the descendants of U.S. slavery, their ethnic identities and languages were beaten out of their ancestors.

So when you can identify for each and every Black American/AA which of the 45 ethnic groups they come from...then let us know. Until then, stop whining.

That's the whole POINT! Racial identity was FORCED on so-called "black" people, and their distinct cultures of origin beaten out of their ancestors. They never identified as "black" in the first place. That was forced.

Now you want to complain about something they never asked for to begin with. SMH.

I don't think anyone will complain about that. Blacks will be expected to "get over it".

This racist crap has to stop. Either we are in this together or blacks want to be treated differently from whites.

Race based celebratory months, black only dorms, racially segregated safe zones on college campuses are wrong.
