well there is no denying the increase did occur at the same time as the cuts and in the areas most effected. There is no data that shows a direct correlation, so you are correct that it is not conclusive at all. Just observations. Say Planned Parenthood is defunded across the country, do similar instances arise?

Illegals WANT babies, not abortions or contraceptive.
Well was there a sudden influx of immigrants when PP clinics were closed.

This article is a total joke. These "Medicaid births" are illegal immigrants dropping anchor after Obama had spent the last 5 years promising amnesty. Texas didn't even defund Planned Parenthood until last year, which isn't included in the data.

Texas has the largest # of teenage pregnancies in the US with or without PP.

The lack of parenting and sex education in that state is awful.

Now think about this people.

Texas dropped the funding October 2015.
This is February 2016.

From October thru January is only 3 months.

Not even long enough to "not have access", get pregnant and have a baby.

Did anyone even stop to think and do that math ?

It's physically impossible for access to end October 2015 and by January 2016 get pregnant and have a baby because you didn't have access.
The earliest someone could have gotten pregnant because of the funding cut would be November. Add 9 months to that and the first babies would be popping out in August 2016.

And COINCIDENTALLY Texas had a surge of illegals..over 500% increase from October thru January. This per the border patrol.

illegal immigrants are to blame for the rise?
Pray tell explain this....

The cuts happened in October 2015.
These women were pregnant BEFORE the cuts if they are having babies by January.

Medicaid births up 27% is due to the surge in illegals, not cuts that happened 3 months ago.

Big Bend up over 500%
Del Rio up 250%
El Paso up over 500%
Rio Grande up over 140%

I posted the CBP report..and that's just October 2015 thru January 2016.

Over 50% of the kids in Texas are Hispanic. It's their culture.

Default Defund PP, this is what you get in Texas

Hate all you want, if you defund a place that helps lower income people learn about and obtain contraception, this is what you get.

I would fund PP to sterilize people who are completely stupid.
Condoms are cheap.
