This is not really shocking news but would it not be useful to have the budget director at the panel hearings?

Quote:
"WASHINGTON — President Obama sends Congress his eighth and last annual budget proposal on Tuesday, a lame-duck executive’s accounting of national priorities that Republican leaders have branded sight unseen: dead before arrival.

But some new ideas that the administration previewed in recent weeks, including on cancer research, opioid abuse and military projects, could have more life than Republicans care to admit. A $10-a-barrel oil tax for infrastructure and clean transportation projects is certain to be too much for conservatives, but administration officials said some initiatives would prevail in some form.

What else is buried in there? Taxing oil even more isn't going to be well-received.

I don't think the oil tax is buried, pretty much up front with that.

the dem legislators passed obamacare without looking at it and its costs.

Any outrage directed toward them?

How about those shovel ready jobs and the repair of our infrastructure...never happened.

what did you do with your 2,500$ savings from obamacare?

Remember when obama said his paln would give everyone 40$ and what a huge difference that would make for each family...in the face of the promised skyrocketing energy costs.

Obama and holder at different time condemned people without first getting details.

Obama's theoretical quantative projections have a dismal record of accuracy.
What's to suggest this will be any different?

Numbers are not Obama's forte.

Why heck, Dems even have rejected Obama's economic proposals!!!!!!!!

Republicans should be deeply ashamed of themselves.

They have acted like spoiled rotten babies for the last seven years.

The Republican leadership has had only one goal for the last 7 years,
"to make Obama a one term President".

That did not work out well for either the Republicans or the country.

People are judged by what they have done in the past.

After 7 of his budgets proposals failed miserably, heck even some of his budgets didn't I SINGLE YES VOTE, dems included.

Do you think Obama has changed his position on ANYTHING since then?
