PTSD didn't occur until 20 years later? So in his case that would be 1990, his story sounds odd.
Where is the corruption, how did the government hurt him, constitutional rights?

Maybe you could add some details and an opinion for a change rather than just posting links

I can't speak on any single instance but we have done great harm to the young men and women by sending them off to useless wars to experience things we should not expect them to take in stride.

We have dropped the ball on their care.

Here is a better link to the case. I don't what it has to do with him being a vet or having PTSD

'PTSD' NUT OR HIGH-LEVEL COVERUP? Cunningham v. New Jersey, Part 1 ⋆ Doug Giles ⋆ #ClashDaily
http://clashdaily.com/2015/04/ptsd-n...jersey-part-2/

Cunningham hired the law firm of Maynard & Truland, LLC to help him with a legal matter – a divorce. He signed an Agreement to Provide Legal Services and gave them a retainer check. He became unhappy with the timeliness of the representation he received. This lack of timeliness cause a default to be entered against him in the divorce, an action that the firm took weeks to advise him had happened. It was so egregious that Cunningham’s ex-wife offered her written statement to help him defend himself in later Court documents. She stated that despite having an attorney present, Mr. Cunningham seemed to be representing himself. The kicker? Cunningham was billed for this questionable representation.

He complained to the firm and the State Ethics Committee.....
...Cunningham went on a letter writing campaign that has lasted 13 years.....

PTSD is far from a simple 'it occurs at X amount of time after combat and will go away in X years/months/days of treatment' situation.

The real challenge here is that How can we get politicians to respond to the problem rather than using it pathetically?

We should be taking a look at how the best VA hospitals (and other hospitals) do what they do, and putting that into effect. We should be looking at how to see if the military can help in ways of implementing changes.

The doctors and psychologists and Psychiatrists I work with using alternative treatments and received great feedback. I doubt these doctors receive any publicity and maybe they should. They treat these veterans because they have big beautiful hearts and they are not dirty politicians. You really need to view these vets as your own brothers, sons, boyfriends, lovers in order to create a non judgmental surroundings for them.

Can't you get PTSD, living on the South Side of Chicago, as a teenage black American?

There is terrible stigma associated with veterans with PTSD, or anybody living with mental illnesses.
Some STUPID people still believe mental illnesses are bad people's disease, and it is really ignorant

If you are an employer, Understand the veteran, his or her skill sets and the differences in military and civilian culture. Hire veterans in pairs or groups because they’re used to working that way.

Learn about PTSD so if you hire a veteran dealing with it, you know what the symptoms really are. This will help you understand that the vet is not trying to be disrespectful or obstinate and will help you understand the reasons they sometimes behave the way they do.

I personally dated several veterans with PTSD, many have asked me why. The reason why is because they happen to be the most reliable, loving, caring individuals I've known. (hot too.) PTSD is not some deadly disease, Many live with the condition can be able to lead happy productive lives.
