In the context of the reason for this nation we call The USA.
Freedom:
Unlimited choices, for you the individual.
Liberty:
The ability to choose for yourself, from unlimited choices.
It is coming to the point, we have neither.
Government has come in and got involved, in basically every aspect of choice, denying the ability to even make the choice for ourselves.
You can't have unlimited choices and live in a community with a population greater than 1. Insofar as some of your choices impact others, freedom is a balancing act.

We did it. This is what we choose by our actions (and our inactions).
We have the freedom and liberty to enslave ourselves to government. And that's what we are doing.
I don't think we should all be lumped into one big collective. It's just certain people that want to be ruled or controlled, or that have been fear mongered into giving up safety for security that are forcing it on those of us who prefer "the animating contest of freedom" as Samuel Adams said.
This sounds like a 4th Grade student trying to sound intelligent by writing a school paper on profound philosophical issues.
Words like "freedom" and "liberty" mean different things to different people.
Does one have the freedom to commit a crime? Freedom to use drugs? Freedom to have any job one wants regardless of education or qualification?
The freedom to have an abortion and terminate an unwanted pregnancy? Or does government have a right to restrict that?
The freedom own firearms and ammunition? How about fully automatic machine guns? Hand grenades? Nuclear devices?
The freedom to pollute the air, poison the water, dump toxic waste?
Did African-Americans have freedom in the South prior to the Emancipation Proclamation? Afterwards, under the "Jim Crow" laws were they truly "free"?
Do we live in a civilized society with the rule of law, or does "freedom" mean people have a right to exempt themselves from paying taxes or abiding by rules they don't like?
