I'm not taking about joining the libertarian party. This new Republican Party would still support some level of taxation. But with regards to social issues and mailitarism, this new party would pretty much adopt a progressive / libertarian platform. Also (since this is an important issue as well), the new party would not reject science.

The social conservatives can keep the "republican" name and you can call this new party whatever you like.

Yes, I want ALL of those old, stodgy Republicans gone, gone , gone ! No more McConnells, McCains, Romneys, Kirks, etc. They are RINOS and nothing else. Of course it would be nice if they took those lousy Democrats with them but--

What I'd love to see is a rule/law that says there will be no pensions for elected officials at any level. I wonder how many people would even run for office ?

Nature will take it's course in this election if they run Trump and they lose they will be turning in a new direction, or if Trump wins and things don't change same result.

Chanting no new taxes while ignoring budget cuts is a recipe for disaster.
