The global weapons trade is booming, Vice reports, citing numbers from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute that show it grew 14% between 2011 and 2015. That's not surprising—between "tensions in Asia" and a "state of total melt-down" in the Middle East, according to the BBC.

I think your site has a bias.

SIPRI is an independent international institute dedicated to research into conflict, armaments, arms control and disarmament. Established in 1966, SIPRI provides data, analysis and recommendations, based on open sources, to policymakers, researchers, media and the interested public.

Thanks but, no thanks!

I find it more interesting these countries and the USA are involved in mass weapon sales and the left in our country worry about a few hunters and law abiding gun owners.

What is the real deal here?

We have sold sooo many guns that have killed soooo many innocent men, women and children that I bet we murdered more people than any country on the planet.

Yet, moonbats scream gun control. I've have honestly never seen a group of people with such a tremendous level of hypocrisy or a group that is completely and utterly incapable of comprehending what is going on around them.

"that have killed soooo many innocent men, women and children"

First, how do YOU know they are innocent?

WhenI was in Viet nam (twice) we saw women and children with hand grandees concealed under their clothes and exploded them whne the soldieres got close.

Second, how many innocents were killed in WWI nad WWII. LOTS.

Do you think we could have defeated Germany in France if there weren't collateral damage?

How many innocent men, women and children has our enemies killed and ny defeating them SAVED tens of thousands MORE lives?

Our arms industry has grown so large under government subsidy that it cannot maintain growth (only second to profit in the religion of Mammon) by selling only to the American Military and civilian markets. So we use taxpayer, or borrowed, Republican, Democrat, Warmonger or Pacifist, to keep the owners of this industry rolling in profits on their investment. Also keep the relatively well paid employees, managers and executives employed.

This is all about money and how many people get killed in some other country is irrelevant.

And your evidence that "the left" worries "about a few hunters and law abiding gun owners" would be?
