So you thought name-calling and greedy donors were bad,

until you heard about this...

Six cases of the mutilation and murder of children as "good luck" sacrifices were reported during the recent Ugandan elections, a children's charity said.
"Child sacrifice cases are common during election time as some people believe blood sacrifices will bring wealth and power," said Shelin Kasozi of Kyampisi Childcare Ministries (KCM), a charity that cares for survivors of attempted child sacrifice.

It's called superstition...or religion.

Those two bad words will suffice.

One thing many people fail to know or see........these people in these countries practiced Islam before Christianity and they have chosen to mix the two. One can not mix Islam and Christianity and come out with a Jesus following person. Jesus tells us we can not serve 2 gods. When the Catholic Church did this with the pagans the pagans mixed their ideas with Christianity and many practice voodoo which is also forbidden in Christian practice. Yet, the church is more interested that people say, "yes to religion" rather than learning some things are to NOT beliefs of Christ.

Thou shall not kill is one of the greatest commands from God, Mohammed not so much!.

African hybrid religions like voodoo generally always have a native religious component that gets thrown in the mix. Islam does not advocate child sacrifice insofar as I've ever heard of.

Why would you care if they abort their own? It's not like they are going to sneak into a religous Conservative's house and abort their fetus

More abortions = fewer people in Prison, fewer on Welfare. and for the Righties, less liberals considering that's who would have the lions share of abortions.

I don't care.

Given that abortions reduce the number of criminals, federal dependents, and democrats, I am okay with it.

Nonetheless, dems kill children to win elections. I guess it just sounds terrible to you, but that is a fact. Has not abortion been a theme for dems in every election for the last 40 years? To deny that is being completely disingenuous.

So...................... dems should not be bashing witch doctors, as it is the "pot calling the kettle black".
