That's what they have to do. With the Christians, they go back centuries to the Crusades.

On the other side, we have the Occupoopers, the looting/rioting in the black areas, liberals in Wisconsin all up in the capitol...

I doubt the Democratic Convention will require that level of security and hardware. I don't understand why liberals are always so violent and in-your-face about protests.

Not only that, consider the trash that OWS "campers" left behind, and the Climate Change protesters, too. Garbage that had to be cleaned up by municipal workers.

Civilized people generally put their trash in waste bins as opposed to throwing it on the ground for someone else to pick up.

I once saw the aftermath of a 'climate change' protest. Trash was everywhere.

The people who care SO MUCH about the planet left it looking like a Brooklyn alley way. It was a disgrace.

Major hypocrites.

As I mentioned before, student protesters blocked off the entrance to Ben Shapiro's lecture at CSULA's campus because they didn't think he should have the right to speak, nor should anyone else have the right to hear him speak. Police were required to escort Shapiro and bring people into the hall from the back entrance, as they physically blocked it off. In their protest, they not only groped and threw around a deaf girl who tried to enter through their blockade, they also knocked another man to the ground multiple times for trying to get to his speech, regardless that this guy was an Atheist Liberal who wanted to challenge Shapiro during his speech.

They're so ruled by emotion, that they'll beat up one of their own without giving them a chance to explain.
Oh, pullease! Enough with this condescending BS about liberals.

Trump's entire candidacy is ruled and fueled by emotion. There's no logic or thoughtfulness behind any of his 'movement.'

It's all anger, emotional adoration and giddiness.

Passionate elements exist on both sides of the Political spectrum. "Lefties" are historically more visibly activist than their counterparts on the right (conservatives) by virtue of the historical imperatives that prevailed at the turn of the century (popular movements in Europe--France, England and Russia--against the prevailing Autocratic rule). Recall that the original the party of Civil Rights was the Republican party of Abe Lincoln. It was also the party of big government ergo: that one major cause of the Civil War was preserving the Union against secessionists (One big national government vs two smaller ones). Times have changed.
I recommend that all Americans interested in the workings of government and political reform watch some of the lively and often raucous sessions of England's House of Commons. The representatives regularly engage in vulgar and personal attacks a-la-Trump. It's not uncommon to see disagreements escalate into actual physical assaults by one member against another. Our congress is a model of restraint in comparison. We are politer and on the surface more rational in our contentious national debates. The question remains can positive and significant national change for the better happen in a peaceful, non-violent and civilized manner? It still seems to me that the squeakiest wheel gets the grease.

Ummm, why did Hillary say, "Republicans were her enemy?" She does know that "we the people" are also Republicans not just those in government. Mighty Liberal of her!
