Religion won't solve america's problems any more than anti-religious thought/secularism will solve them.
Both sides need to quit living in their own box and echo chamber.
Theists: for those that preach, it can be a turn off.
Secularists: blaming everything on 'fundies' and your personal experience with them... It's a turn off
Keep to yourself, stand true to your convictions, and actually know what one is for, and why, instead of knowing what one is against. Or, be the individual that the originalists intended us to be. Identify with a niche, limit your mind.

these days radical islam is lumped in with judeo chirstians by activists and in their best liberal slippery slope logic, project all religion in extreme will distort, violate the constitutional rights and more importantly cause offense to the dozen ultrasensitized athethist activists among us.
Un fortunately liberals reject the ability of people to act responsibly.
Unfortunately liberals cannot differentiate the institutionalized radical islam from mainstream judeo christians.
Islam is lumped in with those faiths because it emanates from them....without Judaism and Christianity, there'd be no Islam.

Tell us your answer to how God is going to stop people from resorting to the far cheaper heroin when they get hooked on prescription pain pills they can't afford?
When this nation was far more religious than it is today, didn't we have Internment camps and Jim Crow?
religion is not morals and we are NOT more moral- misguided religion causes the Jim Crows... talking about a base of -goodness mercy, love, integrity, order-honesty and respect.

people rob- cheat- and sex their money-to get high - be it prescription or heroin or crack -there is no difference, drugs are on the street not at pharmacy prices
I have never been on drugs -but I have heard many say God fixed them from it- there is a chance for change and HOPE-
There are rights and wrongs and our children no longer know the difference. Look at that stupid brawl on the plane by the young ladies-- I saw a total blow out of 6 yrs old on a bus - beating each other - there is no way you will say our country is more moral now- go volunteer at a police dept for a day.
