Let's not get carried away.

There's no such thing as sitting on a beautiful beach at sunset surrounded by the most beautiful people on the planet Earth in the state of Tennessee.

SMH...obviously your post wasn't too well thought out.

Tennessee is beautiful, but this statement is subjective. Orange County is simply gorgeous--my post is subjective, too, but I don't think most people would disagree with me.

And, Carl's Jr. is still based in Carpenteria, CA, which is in Santa Barbara County. Unquestionably one of the most gorgeous places on the planet.

That's putting it mildly.

And Santa Barbara itself? Forget about it. No Tennessee equivalent.

Been to California lately? Still plenty of companies, people, and jobs there! IMO, *too* damn many!

Looks like the State is working hard to rid itself of those "excess" businesses.

I prefer a spring fed river over salt water myself. You can find beautiful people everywhere.

Beauty is far more than the exterior package. Many of those on the beach have a very thin veneer of "beauty" covering a really ugly inside. But there is a certain mindset that as long as it "looks good" that's all that matters.

When California's bubble bursts, and it will...it will cause either a severe recession or a depression for the entire country.

Evidently, the scenery was not worth the cost.
