The Internets are abuzz over a Joe's Crab Shack table photo that shows the execution/hanging of a black convicted murderer with the caption "All I said was 'I don't like the gumbo!'".
Some are defending the photo as it shows an execution not a lynching (as some headlines say) and it's not racist just because it was a black man being executed.
Either way it's a stupid and inappropriate photo to put in front of a diner and Joe's has apologized.

What the heck! Who comes up with these stupid ideas, thinks they are a good one and puts it on the wall? Did they bother to run it by anyone else first? Jeez, I hope not. Would hate to think that there were two or more people that thought this was funny and a good idea.

I guess some people just don't think there are enough hypersensitive losers out there to make a stink about it.
So this couple just had to go to the media instead of getting things worked out privately with the company.
Their sincerity about duress this has caused them is questionable.
Totally stupid but racially charged? Guess he should have made it a white man dead..
It would have been distasteful if it was a white man. That it was a black man, given the history of black lynchings in this country, it's goes beyond distasteful.
Seriously, you have to wonder what people are thinking when they do stuff like this.
Big deal. Most of those people probably died in WW1 anyway 20 years after that. You know, where the real atrocities happened. Hangings like that were normal not just for blacks.
Looks like to me somebody is looking for a "paycheck" for being offended.
