Yeah you innovate and Chinese just copy and take advantage of it with their massive scales.
And who would want to live in the US after its economy is completely destroyed by protectionist policies?
An America that can't attract genuises from other countries isn't going to be able to maintain its competitive edge very long.
Don't allow anyone into America until we can take care of our own. And get rid of the welfare state. We have enough geniuses already and don't need anymore foreigners taking away jobs Americans can do.
Globalism is a race to the bottom for the vast majority of the population in the modern world.
Free trade can be good, but there has to be a balance. What we have now is a system that solely benefits the wealthy. They can send most of the jobs overseas, while still having the global market open for exports.
Yeah, exactly, why can't we just have policies that are more equitable?
