Most of it is poured onto the ground for lush landscaping. Idiotic waste of water in a place with a Mediterranean climate and a drought.
One such water waster is Tom Selleck. Famous Republican conservative who was caught taking truck-loads of water from a public fire hydrant for his private use.
You don't use the water, the water company hike up the price anyway. The wealthy were wise to see how counterproductive the water restriction was in the first place.
California doesn't really have a water problem. They have a priority problem. 50% of the available water is wasted to make the eco-religion fools happy. If this waste was eliminated, the pretenders in hollywood would be able to have green lawns. But it is ironic that it's the morons who so many low information people idolize, and look to for their moral guidance are the ones who are the biggest wasters of any resource.

There it is. I've been saying it, people keep trying to tell me I'm wrong. No, I'm not wrong.

Yep, this has nothing to do with political affiliation though. Those affluent owners, whether in CA or NV as well, they are ALWAYS the culprits when it comes to water wasting. Always. God forbid they should forego having an emerald green lawn & lush blooming plants 365. Disgusting.

Oh, oh! He is Republican! Do we now say that all Republicans that are actors waste water?
Ahhh, NO. Apples to oranges. If anyone bothers to read what happened with Selleck it's not anywhere near what these current people are being accused of.
First off, it was pointed out that Selleck used the water for food producing trees on his ranch. Secondly, he paid for the water taken from the hydrant. Third, the ONLY issue was that the water was bought by a CONTRACTOR from a hydrant in one city and delivered to Selleck in another city, a violation of policy. Had Selleck lived in that particular district there'd be no story. There is NO evidence that he knew the water crossed city lines.
I submit had Selleck been Joe citizen democrat there'd really be NO story.

But he IS famous. Selleck, who has owned that property for decades, was reported by his neighbors who saw the trucks filling up and going to his property. Californians don't appreciate people blatantly stealing water (or pouring it onto lush vegetation and lawns) when they are flushing every-other time due to water restrictions.
