They should be turning to Bernie Sanders, not Donald Trump. Sanders is unapologetically fighting the fight for what Democrats used to stand for....and truthfully it was the Clinton presidency, along with "centrist" Democrats like Feinstein and Dodd, which brought big business into the Democratic party in the first place.
You have to be kidding! Sanders record on immigration is worse than any of the other candidates. There will be no working class Americans left if Sanders has his way.
You obviously have not lived long enough to remember what the Democrats and Republicans use to tell us voters. They use to brag about American productivity and how we were the best in the world. That was before all of the One World Order crowd took over with the agenda to replace us all and tax the remaining ones to death and beyond! Of course they are only marching to the tune of the their rich special interest friends that want to be richer.
Yesterday, I saw the local drive through burger joint advertising for help on their outdoor sign. $12 an hour. That is the market now it seems for such jobs. Well above minimum wage.
In NYC, the minimum wage is $9 and the local government is pushing for a higher mandatory min wage.
Why such a disparity in wages for unskilled workers? I'd argue this is an example of the market setting the price for labor. There are many illegals in NYC which drive down the wages of labor. In Austin, there is much competition for that unskilled labor.
Democrats want to open wide the border to illegal immigrants. Who does that influx of cheap labor hurt? The working class. The low skilled.
Republican voters see that reality. I don't understand why some Democrat voters don't.

Supply and demand.
When there's plenty of workers there's no need to offer a higher wage.

Completely agree.
Unfortunately, a lot of people (especially older folks) are still not yet ready to vote for Sanders due to his "socialist" label...

Please let me know how $4700 more in taxes (minimally) is "fighting for me".
Democrats have had the luxury of screwing over labor as well as blacks and still getting their support to the detriment of laborors and the large majority of blacks to get millions of illegals in voting for them and it's been a very successful strategy in lowering incomes and sharply increasing the income gap...thereby increasing class and racial warfare which is their goal to manipulate for power. They'll only change their strategy if they need to...so far, why should they?
That's when the Reagan admin (who I voted for) began a concerted effort to dismantle labor unions. And when income for working American started a steady decline while those at the top accumulated so much more of the country's assets.
Right, because the Republican Party is working every day to help the commonfolk. LMAO
In reality both parties screw everyday working and middle class families. It's just a matter of picking which ***** you'd like -- the blue one or the red one?
I'd opine that securing a constant and ever renewing voter base is the motive for many of the Democrats' actions. The idea is to keep the base dependent, and themselves in power. Hence the emphasis on social programs, eternal victimhood and the sense of helplessness on the part of the constituency.
So what happens when the jobs go, and you lose the house. Enter the social welfare programs, your guv'mint will provide for all your needs, you needn't worry about anything or even try to figure out how to get back on your feet, or self-sufficient again. This way they've got you, you're beholden to them, and they maintain absolute control.
"When you rob Peter to pay Paul AND David, Paul AND David will vote for you EVERY TIME".
