I am frankly stunned to find liberals are the last best hope, i grew up a Republican, i was raised to believe republicans wanted to protect our wildlife, our rivers our skies. I was raised to believe Liberals were weak, and only Repubs would fight the fight to protect us from Communists and dictators.

Yet here we are some decades later and Republicans are voting to pour coal ash into our rivers, they are voting to put business ahead of citizens. And worst of all Republicans under Trump have formed an unholy alliance with Putin to allow him to retake eastern europe one bite at a time.

The Republican party disgust me. They have become the Party of race baiting a party hell bent of using divisive issues to fool otherwise good people into supporting the destruction of our SCOTUS. We see Republicans cheering as the POTUS attacks every branch of gov.

The Party is Republican in name only, and shame on everyone you who continue lessen our nation.
Like most hardcore leftists, you're delusional and disconnected from reality.

re-read my post. the drop preceded the bump. or you could look at the chart at RCP and see for yourself:

OK. Then you do concede there was a bump.
That's really what I thought you meant. It shows the Democrats were on the wrong side of the issue.
But just to be clear: I don't use the RCP chart, which contains push polls and nutcase polls who interview anyone over 18.
I use Rasmussen. Gallup had Trump at 35% approval just before he won the election, so I don't think they would be relevant today, although it is heartening to see them at 43%. Maybe they're getting the hang of this polling stuff.

Sorry, I've been too busy WORKING instead of jumping from job-to-job as outsourcing consumed and closed much of the industry I work in. But don't worry, me and millions of others will take the time to vote once again in 2020.

BY the WAY.... 52% DISAPPROVE, that is a massive number. And the POTUS's party does NOT gain seats when the potus is under 50% .
Well RealClearPolitics says Trump's last 2 CNN polls were 37 and now 43-
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...179.html#polls

Trump's RCP average approval rating is currently identical to November 7th 2016-
7th November 2016 = 43.6
18th September 2018 = 40.2
8th October 2018 = 43.6

And it'll be even easier in 2020, because Biden will be running, and he's hopeless at campaigns.
You are personally screwed for the next 6 years.

you're missing that his disapproval rate is higher in that comparison. his disapproval was at 44.3% ( -.7% difference ) when he took office, it's at 52.5% today ( -8.9% difference ).

i always think it's odd that the SCOTUS appointments are considered an "accomplishment" for trump. a conservative justice got confirmed thru a conservative controlled congress. that's the presidential equivalent of a participation trophy. if trump had gotten a conservative justice passed thru a liberal congress ( or vice-versa ) that would have been an accomplishment.
