Yes, some wealthy kids are recruited just like some wealthy kids find their way into gangs. It's rare. We know most of the terrorist activity in Belgium and France is coming out of low income, high unemployment areas with a high Muslim population often leaving those who live there feeling outside of society.
They feel outiside society because they are, by their own choice, a separate society with no desire to assimilate.

The Quran is no different from the Torah (what you may call the Old Testament). Both are violent books when taken out of context. Both have radical groups (and yes, that includes Christian and Jewish groups) that choose to take portions out of context to promote violence.
Tell me, is there any extreme the current wave of jihadists could go to that would make people like you stop spouting this equivalency crap?
One of the biggest problems is their gov't CANNOT and will not admit there is a problem.
It is very much on par with the American left. They try to keep bad stories "hush hush" so as not to have to explain themselves. Even when it is painfully obvious, there actively seek to suppress the truth.

Uh; def some real good reasons to NOT let most Muslims in. Period. Especially the "refugee" kind going to Europe a few months back.

Enough with the bleeding heart emotion.
This is exactly what created Molenbeek. They self segregated. They shunned the rest of society.
THEY did this. It was not done to them.
And yet the government called for further restrictions on ALL gun owners due to this incident. Yet when it comes to Muslim extremists and terrorism, they do not favor any wholesale actions like they called for with guns. I marvel at the hypocrisy.
Remarkable indeed.

No there is not.
Another thing they fail to realize is that while there certainly were those who took advantage of the situation and behaved badly, the Crusades were a RETALIATION against Jihadists who had been attacking and taking over portions of Europe for a hundred years.
Were it not for the crusades we would all be Muslims already.
