You have to go all the way back to Johnson in 1963-1969 without coming up with someone who didn't ROYALLY screw up two terms, and even Johnson screwed the pooch by escalating the Vietnam war far more than he should have.

Love him or hate him, Obama had his **** together.
Are you serious? Yeah, he didn't get a BJ in office, but what about the IRS targeting of conservatives, or the fact that his administration has "lost" more information requested in FOIA requests than any other administration, by far. Could that be why there were no more scandals to report?

I can't say much for the intelligence of anyone who thinks obama has been successful, unless you are speaking of his plan to destroy America. In that he has done a very good job.
If you think obama has been good for America, you are living in a fantasy world...

As a conservative, I certainly don't like much of Obama's policy preferences/ideology, but I will say that he has been a decent president overall. He's seemed pragmatic and generally above the fray. Hasn't gotten us into endless wars. The economy is better.

I really don't get the continued conservative hate for him. If he wanted to destroy this country as some hidden Muslim socialist agent, he would have done it by now. I would prefer another 4 years of Obama over Trump, Clinton, or Sanders.

The previous guy in office set the Middle East on fire with his ill advised and wholly illegal invasion of a sovereign nation, taking out the buffers that kept the region in check, but you blame the guy who was left with the impossible task of trying to put out the inferno that last guy stupidly lit? You do know that the previous guy also signed the agreement to pull the troops out, well before Obama took office, right?

Rather astounding that any one gives any credence whatsoever to the current crop of clowns emanating from the GOP.
Hillary or Bernie you got a tough act to follow.
You do realize that the senate has only been under Republican control for just over a year, right?

And with that control they have done nothing, they continue to block, obstruct, lay off, deregulate, deprive the needy while assisting the wealthy, and pass nothing of significance like infrastructure measures or job bills, and now the best they can offer for future Presidential consideration is Trump and Cruz? as usual all torque no traction.

(Hey wadaya know, he's up to 53% now! Thanks for that.)

• 1500 adults were polled.

• "Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as president?" (I know, that's some real tricky wording there).

• "Margin of error is ±3 percentage points." ( looks like he could be as high as 56% then actually...or maybe you're rooting for just 50%.)

So many details, details, details. But you know the old saying, you can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think. (I'll provide a link for that because, you know, details, details, details). https://en.m.wikiquote.org/wiki/Dorothy_Parker

Quick enough?
OK, I opened your gallop link and all I found was a chart and this "Margin of error is ±3 percentage points."
which indicates that you could just as well have said "Obama is at 50%"

Do I think it is a coincidence that YOU posted "looks like he could be as high as 56%"

Other then your silly condescending tone what are the OTHER SERIOUS questions I asked about the poll?

Heck, they might even be good details for you.

Details, details, details!

"wholly illegal invasion of a sovereign nation,"

I sincerely HOPE you don't expect to think YOU have ANY credibility.

Obama`s approval numbers have almost always been below average.

In fact, according to a Gallup comparison, his overall average is dead ass last.

Presidential Job Approval Center

Hell, LJB was more popular than Obama and he had enough class to not run.

Obama sucks!
