Thankfully, most here didn't bother to read Sowell's sewage.

I'll give him props for one of his better quotes though...

The Reality is ....... Do we really want Obama 2.0 with Ms Inevitable? That's their plan.
Time for Folks to wake up to Reality and quit the bickering.
Even if Ms Inevitable wins in November, a lot of Republicans will still celebrate on January 20th.

Sowell is correct in that modern progressives' economic ideas have much more in common with fascism than socialism, but to label Obama a fascist is a little hyperbolic.

Whatevers..All I've read is a constant drumbeat of Obama HATE..Liberal HATE..Socialism HATE and somehow associated with Communism/Fascism/Dictatorship..ANYTHING that describes NON-Republican control. However..Congress has been controlled by GOP 2010/Congress then 2012 Senate too....What have they done? NADDA of significance on extreme RW at all..

To the outside world..American Politics has become a mockery of what it has been trying to apply to so many Countries...Shame it can't ( won't) actually work according to their Values ... Since 2009..Compromise became a dirty word No Republican would utter THAT WORD!! LOL ...and NOW see what's become of your Republican Values??? I doubt it, given the rhetorical posts I read day in and day out

Republicans have no ideas whatsoever. The only thing they're good for is blocking anything Democrats want to do that can't be accomplished via executive order. Which is generally a good thing.

Democrats are the party of bad ideas and Republicans are the party of no ideas. As much of a joke as the Republican party is nowadays, I'll take no ideas over bad ideas any day.

Violence has nothing to do with Fascism. And yes, Obama has spread propaganda quite often.

Has it every occurred to conservative intellectual simpleton that capitalist vs a socialist are not binary, mutually exclusive concepts and that in reality, every society is composed of a blended spectrum of the two?
