Did you come up with this nonsense all by yourself? Or was it in a DNC email as a talking point?

At some point states taxpayers will start taking care of themselves and QUIT getting the fed to bail them out everything they waste their OWN tax dollars.
So cities / states are allowed to openly break and ignore federal immigration laws - but ignore Ms. Lynch's directive to give the black community a lower set of standards to remain civilized....well, that's grounds to lose federal funding - you know, the money their tax base paid to the federal gov't.

Thats not what she stated but why are you bringing immigration up?

Sure seems like strict enforcement is reserved for blacks and other minorities in some of these areas.

I am all for strict enforcement across the board. But I notice the new cannard used by Blacks is to claim the Police are lax on others but stringent on blacks. Maybe it is because black violation is so flagrant as to have no doubt. Besides and consider, more crime in black neighborhoods so more patrolling leads to more coming into contact with offenders. Duh. Really.

I could ask someone who does this. Family and see what they respond from a practical level but of course that answer will be tossed out as biased. Basically if it does not fit you must acquit.

Seriously, I have committed ordinance violations such as speeding within certain limits but a crime as in a misdemeanor or felony not since my late teens at Spring Break if you know what I mean. We/She-LL is talking about folks who commit arrest-able offences and/or evade hearings leading to bench warrants. I was ticketed as a teen with almost no money and it was tough coming up with the money to pay but I knew I had a bench warrant over my head if I defaulted so paying become a priority. And the threat of a hefty fine and worse a deterrent. It is part of the shaping process in becoming a law aiding adult and being a male, a Man. Something obviously in short supply in black communities under consideration. Grown spoiled males are not Men.

Just a step above debtors prison.
As the article points out, that argument doesn't even make sense, as poor black people are far less likely to pay fines/court costs than white people are. If you run a city and you're trying to raise revenue through fines, who would you give them to? Middle or upper-middle class people who will pay the fine in a few days, or poor people in the hood who will likely never pay up?
Just more claiming victimhood by using an obviously bogus argument, which people only believe because it tells them what they want to hear.

Here is the way it works in many places....You get fined.....you don't pay that fine.....you go to jail.....the state pays the city or county for nights in bed.

Have you ever lived in the hood? I have. These areas need stricter enforcement of laws, if anything. Obama and his pals seem to be intent on making our worst neighborhoods even worse, if such a thing is possible.

Keep in mind that in many of these poor areas middle class is non-existent and as is the case in Ferguson it is a predominately white government and police force.
If you read through the DOJ report on Ferguson it give you a good idea what is going on there and in other cities and it is almost always disportionately black and minorities. Blacks are arrested in far greater amounts than whites for marijuana use, why is that?

This is an editorial but it gives you a good summary of the report:
Quote:
Those who receive tickets become subject to the Byzantine workings of the Pagedale municipal court, which is in session two days a month in the early evening, when low-income workers and single parents are often unable to appear. Defendants who don’t show up are subject to an arrest warrant, which brings with it additional fines, fees and court costs. And while Pagedale has only about 3,300 residents, the municipal court, according to the lawsuit, heard an astonishing 5,781 cases in 2013. The court costs a little more than $90,000 to operate, but the city netted more than a quarter of a million dollars in revenue.
