They didn't ban them for black people, they banned them for everyone.

I think the ban is stupid, don't get me wrong, but it isn't anymore racist against black people than a school banning waist-length hair would be racist against white people.

It looks staged to me. The white guy with the dreads sounded like he was acting and it looked planned based on his mannerism.

Also, what does this have to do with BLM even if it is a real incident?

Does the OP think that all black people saying something are saying it due to being members of BLM?

And FWIW, I am black and I think black people "appropriate" African cultural items/wares/fashion here in America.

Everyone appropriates everything at some point.

Again though, I don't see how this video has anything to do with the Black Lives Matter group...

That's just sad. Nothing wrong with a decent fro or even dreads.

Sure. But the average white person can't grow an afro. And that is the way it grows out of people's heads. And it is pretty hard for a white person to create dreads. It takes some serious work to get them to stick. Black people don't have to do much.

Agreed. It's called "building a better mouse trap" or something like that.

Tho I'm of Irish family; "my" people can keep their corned beef and cabbage, give me some good fried chicken and some rice pilav. Black people have the rep of eating that kind of chicken and, I DON'T blame them, it's def good food. The rice is from the Middle East, Arab or something like that. lol

This is interesting. When I lived in Seattle, I couldn't count how many white liberals of this kid's age wore dreadlocks. I didn't hear any outcry then. I wonder what all those liberals are going to do with their rastafarian hats, their clothing, etc. Liberals vs liberals....this country is out of control.

People have the right to wear what ever they want. She needs to get over herself.

Everything is filmed and racist White people are running rampant on the Internet. Is this worth a discussion?

I agree...it looked very much staged. The white guy was overdoing it and the chick was laughing at certain points.
