I remember an old black grandmother blurting out to me..."My grandchildren will become your worst nightmare"....I was shocked. I never owned black slaves....nor did my grand father or great grand father. So I do not need to apologize for anything? White people DO have to say sorry... not only on behalf of millions... but on behalf of the actions of slave owners long, long dead, who represented less than 2% of white Americans... at the HEIGHT of slavery!
