Here is a good video showing the difference in campaigns (Trump vs. Sanders) as well. Plus it's got lots of hugs, which makes it a really, really good video

Did you watch the video? Numerous anti-Trump passer by's said Trump was a racist and bigot. Why are you playing ignorant?

How exactly did you come to this conclusion?

Since my post about the truth on this matter being about perception got ignored (too rational, I guess), I'll leave some hard evidence that the video posted prove literally nothing more than the obvious reality that some people are dicks.

There, I think we've covered our bases. We've got one video of Bernie fans being dicks (courtesy of the OP who in no way had a biased agenda), and these three videos showing nice Bernie supporters, awful Trump supporters, and then nice Trump supporters.

With all this in mind, if you still go along with the OPs point, I'm happy to say that you are an imbecilic and letting your own political bias cloud the deafening reality which is that people can be good or bad no matter who they're voting for. To the rational people, thanks for your time. To the rest... I guess you're part of that 'sometimes people suck' group. Good day!

The fact is, despite saying the opposite, liberals are just as likely to be close minded and more likely to riot/be violent over politics.

Look at the G-8 protests, those aren't conservatives.

The thing is, this keeps being made about politics.

If liberals can be close minded and conservatives can be closed minded, does it really makes sense to claim on is and one isn't, or go on the defensive when an ideology is attacked? If both liberals and conservatives can be violent toward other political ideologies, is it worth time making threads like this?

Even you are clearly directing the negativity in one direction. You imply that you know conservatives can be close minded and violent, yet the only direct accusation is that liberals fit this description (you also add that they are hypocrites).

Why is it that even in attempts to remain objective, people find it so hard to not let their bias against the other party dominate their point of view?

Well yes but i noticed rational thought only becomes popular when they feel the hypocritical bern. Sanders has many more youthful supporters. That demographic is always more violent and vocal. They have lots of spare time , and few obligations So naturally Sanders supporters are more violent. However what is being reported is Trump supporters are violent which is of course laughably absurd. I don't suppose you were thinking rationally then were you?

I am not sure exactly what you are getting at.

-It is important to talk about hypocrisies etc in politics to try and change it.

-Obviously both sides have close minded people. Both sides have violent people.

-Statistically speaking, liberals have had more violent protests recently.

-Most historians would argue that one can never completely remove all bias.
