Is it only censorship when the effort is successful? No, it becomes censorship when the attempt is made to alter the words and message occurs.

As to insulting an entire religion? That too is a no; unless considers all Muslims to be Islamists. Most people do not.

So why is this important, we can't fight terror until we insult all Muslims. People spend too much time arguing over sematics but it doesn't make sense to insult an entire religion when you are looking for their support.

Islamist terrorism, is in Syria and in Iraq. We therefore have to act both in Syria and in Iraq, and this is what we’re doing within the framework of the coalition.

seems like this is the message. Maybe the French can do it alone, send their OWN troops to Syria and Iraq.

I seen it and was going to post this, but then the White House declared it was a technical error. They were trying to sneak the censorship in and see if we didn't notice. Obama is the worst traitor to this country.

In fairness it's not all his fault; Hillary and the rest of his administration played a part too.

The transcript the White House published and still has on its web site has the full context of Hollande's remarks.

I've listened to the translator who was clearly struggling at times to keep up with the live translation of Hollande's remarks. Case in point the long pause on after the word Europe in the 2nd paragraph: "Europe has been hit more, given that it is also the target of the terrorists and ISIS."

The problem with live translations is you don't get to go back or pause the speaker if you are struggling with the translation.

It was also the policy of the Bush adminsistration not to use the phrase, it doesn't help us to isult the religion in general. What is the point in using the phrase, what does it accomplish.

I am not offended if someone says Christian terrorism. Oh wait, that has happened much, now has it...
Obama and his PC tools are offensive.
