I found the story and it sounds a bit fishy. The 'reporter' seems to refuse to give actual numbers of the people involved who actually voted and apparently didn't see fit to turn the information over to the feds. Here's a pretty good story detailing the outcome of some of these 'investigations'

It's not as easy for the poor, especially those who don't drive, to get a photo I.D. if the deck is stacked against them. For many who live in poverty, they are losing the right to vote.

Wisconsin

That didn't prove to be true in TX.
Actually quite the opposite.

Voter registration is at an all time high, with Voter ID.
Twice what it was before vote ID laws.

A few things about that.

As far as the number of registered voters, in Texas:

2015 13,988,920 73.2% of eligible voters
2010 13,269,233 71% of eligible voters
two percent increase ain't quite twice..

And then there is this

More than half a million registered Texans don’t have the right ID to vote on Super Tuesday Apparently you can register to vote without a photo ID but you need it to vote.

Wisconsin

Pay attention blacks, minorities and poverty stricken...

OP is a Democrat. The party that claims to be on your side and to stick up for you, thinks you're too stupid and incapable of making your way down to the DMV to get a free ID card.

If you lived in Texas rather than Long Island, you wouldn't be claiming illegal immigration is flat. That's just such a lie.

The Texas redistricting proposal based on registered voters was just struck down in supreme court, one example of the thrust for republicans the last few years. States like Wisconsin make it as difficult as possible to register and eliminate minority and poor voters so let's not even pretend that the voter law changes in all states is about rampant fraud, it's about eliminating competition and winning elections.

Quote:
In 2014, Lynn Adelman, a federal district judge in Wisconsin, struck down the law after finding no evidence of voter fraud. He found that the law would most likely disenfranchise poor and minority voters, who disproportionately lack the required ID, and “will prevent more legitimate votes from being cast than fraudulent votes.” But a federal appeals court inexplicably reversed that decision and the Supreme Court declined to hear the case last year, allowing the law to go into effect.

However, there is a real emphasis on denying people the right to vote when there are virtually no examples of someone impersonating someone else to vote.

How 'bout that?
Are you kidding. There a millions of examples of someone impersonation someone else to vote, like when illegals (who have absolutely no right to anything in this country) are rounded up to vote by the democrats. They should have no say. They should be shot or out in jail.

Oh come on, you know better. This whole "argument" has nothing to do with "disenfranchisement" over voter ID. It has to do with preventing voter fraud and keeping people that are not able to vote legally from being able to vote, thereby ensuring some integrity to our voting process. Dems are adamant about ensuring voter fraud is as easy to accomplish as possible, especially with criminal aliens.

The whole ID=disenfranchisement issue is just a smoke screen for corrupt acts.
