The dragon lady is making it matter. That's my take on it.
Most people pose when they take a picture. the photo in the link is a screen shot from her personal google plus page.
The article points out how disconnected we are now to our bodies. This is how our society going. Not saying we can do anything about it and the person can do it. It is sad though one can't accept how they are made.
People do modifications to their bodies daily. WE shave, wear make up, cut and color hair, pierce ears, then there are all types of plastic surgery. This person just goes further than most of us do. But we all change things about ourselves is that because we can't accept how we are made? I wasn't born with holes in my ears, or perfect teeth, or hair free legs but I now have those things.

The article was written by people who believe an invisible man in the sky with magical powers and his undead offspring talk to them and tell them how everyone else should live their lives. How is that less ludicrous than someone who wants to make themselves look like a dragon? At least the latter isn't telling people they have to do the same thing or they'll be tortured for all eternity.

If that's the case, then I think I'm neutral. Dragon Lady is not trying to "actively" make a big deal out of her transformation, and at the same time she's still public.
So I guess it's neither soliciting attention or hiding. Something in the middle? However, the article sure does seem to know a lot about her. It is entirely possible that many of the details were provided by her.

I think shaving your legs or getting an earring is QUITE a bit different than having your ears and nose surgically removed because you literally believe you are a dragon.
Yeah people can do whatever they want with their lives.
I guess it just disturbs me that that are places you can go and people will take your money to do this sort of thing when you are clearly mentally ill.
