Identity diffusion is marked by a lack of integration of a sense of self and others. Many people with borderline personality disorder (BPD) struggle with identity issues.
It also sounds like she experienced some kind of trauma when she was a child. Many people suffer from BPD also experienced trauma at very early age.
I think she has some psychological issues.
She actually sorta warrants a little pity, NO one should feel the need to assume another identity, pretty sad stuff actually. People need to be complete and satisfied in their own skin.
Do all women have to accept Caitlyn as a woman for her to be a woman? If we look down at those who discourage Caitlyn from identifying against her genes, why shouldn't we also support Rachel?
I can't speak for what women should accept.
Dolezal? You're free to support her. Who said that you couldn't? But she's not black unless we except her as black. And we don't.
Otherwise, I've got no issues with Dolezal whatsoever.
What profit? She's a bleeping hairdresser for crying out loud.
No one is exploiting black folks. Stop it.
So she lied her way to becoming the president of her local NAACP chapter, she's currently releasing a book (that I'm sure will be bought by numerous fools) about her racial identity, and this doesn't qualify as black folks being exploited? Stop it. And I'll remember your "no one is exploiting black folks" comment here next time I see you complaining about white conservatives.
Speak for yourself. I'm tired of clowns like her and Shaun King exploiting black folks for profit.
That Shaun King character needs to have a seat and people need to stop listening to him.
African descended groups, especially African-Americans need to be more insular and blank these people. Dont let our cultures be a free for all. Let him and her cry their little eyes out. It's not your heritage, not your culture. You have little respect for it if you feel you can up and claim it. Let their families or their cultures fix their identity crises...and let them stay over there.

Isn't it a bit haughty to pretend that you speak for all black people. Some black people do accept her.
"We should not have to be slaves to the biological definition of identity, and we should not use race or gender identities as weapons to punish one another." -Camille Gear Rich, African American Professor
Some blacks certainly do support Rachel. I haven't seen any polling. However, what right do you have to tell her that she must accept her identifying DNA? What right does anyone have to tell Caitlyn Jenner that "he" must accept "her" identifying DNA?
If a black lady wants to dye her hair blonde as her white brunette dyes her hair red despite of their DNA, what difference does it make to me? If a pale white man chooses to tan to make his skin appear darker than normal, what difference is it to me? How does it harm me. Perhaps black people have, historically been oppressed, but so have women.

You don't have an issue with Rachel that she fabricated racist attacks against her and the NAACP? These lies of her harm the NAACP, as now an NAACP official is on record lying about racist attacks. She falsely claimed that she received racist postal mail - it is not true, no postal codes on the mail and Dolezal found it in the NAACP P.O. Box, which has to go through the mail. Dolezal, had told of being attacked for being black when she was truly....a little white girl at the time. It gives people less reason to accept the NAACP's credibility in the future, fair or not.
You don't consider her black, but you don't have a problem that she took a full ride scholarship to Howard University, which was meant to go to a black person? So, you would be fine if hundreds or thousands of Asians, whites, and others started passing themselves off as black to take scholarships intended for blacks and black affirmative action positions.
I do have a problem with Rachel lying about incidents with not being up front with her DNA to take advantages for herself.

She can be black without you accepting her, you have no say on how someone feels inside right? Isn't that the mantra used for the confused homosexuals and Transgenders? If it works for them it works for everyone in every situation.
