If everything happens, like the establishment is planning, my wife and I will be the first to drop out of the Republican Party - we only changed to vote for one candidate. There will be many Democrats that will be willing to look for another party after seeing all of the shenanigans in this year's election. It amazed us how easy it is to change political parties.

My feeling is that we will not be alone. Many voters will want candidates that actually listen to the voters and not establishment politicians that tell us they know best. We are such hypocrites to tell the world that we believe in Democracy and then not trust our voters.

So far, the problem with Third Parties, is that they appear to have the blessing of the major Parties. They always have some plank or idea that will never catch on and, therefore, they never pull the votes. I do think, considering what is currently happening, that any party that has a sole mission is to represent it's voters; would be quick to gather strength.

As much as one side want's to gloat over how they are winning through their planned corruption; there will be no winners this year. They have lost the respect of the people.

For years we sent monitors to other countries to ensure that their voters had a voice in the direction of their country: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Election_monitoring. Now we have many that are telling the voters to sit down and shut up - you don't have a say! So what was all of this monitoring about if we don't even want Americans to have a say in our direction?

Whether you are for or against Trump or Sanders; this year's Presidential election has exposed the depths of the corruption and fraud. We need political parties that represent the people!

Then show up to vote, or show up to caucus, make your voice be known that you are open to be a delegate..... Do your part and pray you will be part of the majority.

The caucus states, are more to the will of the people(like Colorado and Iowa) than voting at the polls. At the caucus, you know who is supporting who and delegates chosen from them. In states that vote, the delegate selection is wheeling and dealing. The delegate chosen for the "winner" may not really support that candidate. The plan is set for an open convention.

Most Americans do not have time to be delegates or do they know the people they have to know. However; Americans do expect to be heard when we cast our votes. That is what we have always been told. Now you are saying that we have to be part of the electoral college! This is a relatively recent 'change/revelation'. Both Parties have told the voters that we are a Democracy and that our vote does count - it just doesn't count if we vote for somebody that has not been 'approved'!

We never read the fine print. It is like trying to collect on an insurance policy to be told that wasn't covered! We are really feeling cheated and we now have no respect for this system that has no respect for the wishes of the voters!

Some historians see the populists as forward-looking liberal reformers. Others view them as reactionaries trying to recapture an idyllic and utopian past. For some they are radicals out to restructure American life, and for others they are economically hard-pressed agrarians seeking government relief.
